We use the best industrial high-solid coatings, epoxies and urethanes, currently available for each technical situation. We are aggressive in surface preparation, typically resulting in a higher surface area profile, which accepts more primer with better adhesion. Sanding between coats promotes coating mechanical and chemical adhesion and provides superior impact resistance. We routinely apply a clear coat application to each locomotive paint job for maximum finish life and high gloss finish. Handrails, handles and other high wear areas are final brush painted with a heavy coat to ensure maximum coverage in these areas.
